Victoria House embraces the principles of teaching as set out by Rudolf Steiner. The aims in our daily life are to foster the development of the whole human being - body, soul and spirit- in order that each individual can develop an established identity, a greater ability to communicate and the self confidence to cope with adult responsibility. According to the individual needs of the residents a program of arts and crafts is also included in the timetable. Literacy, Numeracy, Information Technology and Independent Living Skills are an integral part of the individuals learning plan. Residents also have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument of their choice.
