Coleg Elidyr welcomes individuals who are want to visit us informally to see the site and gain an understanding of what we could offer them for their further Education.
This is often the first step towards selecting a College for most young adults and their parents/guardians, and we often see individuals as young as 14 come through our doors to start organising their future.
What’s involved in an Informal Visit?
Informal visits can take place at any time of day, ideally arriving by 10am or 1pm during the week, to give you the opportunity to visit work areas, meet staff and meet learners.
You will be met by the admissions coordinator at reception upon your arrival. You will then have a tour of the site, visiting both work areas and residential houses and getting a chance to chat with those who are working there, learners and staff. The tour takes up to two and a half hours, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have as you walk or during an informal chat afterwards.
You will also have the opportunity to meet with the principal, Dai Sibbons, to ask any questions you may have.
How to organise an Informal Visit
If you would like to come to Coleg Elidyr for an informal visit, please contact the admissions coordinator on 01550760401 or through firstname.lastname@example.org with information about the prospective learner and an idea of when you would like to see us.
